In October 2018, the Chinese subsidiary of the leading provider of 3-D marketing inaugurated in Shanghai its new and enlarged operating area of 12,000 m², to meet continued strong growth. In the production site which is located in the southern district of Jinshan and in the new city central office (Minhang) there are now 140 permanent staff and temporary workers employed in the areas planning, project management, production and logistics.

 

Raumtechnik has been successfully operating for about seven years in the world’s second largest economic area. The country has more than 100 exhibition sites, 9 of the 10 largest exhibition sites in Asia are located in China. Pure market dynamics, but always a challenge. Set up in 2011, revenue was substantially increased over the last three years from 80 to approx. 200 million CNY (approx. 24 million Euro). Yet the mission is not just to aim for growth: “We don’t want to be the biggest, but want to continue to be one of the best players in our field”, stated managing director Achim Reinhuber in his speech to employees and guests.

 

The importance the company now has for the region was underlined by the participation of local government representatives in the opening ceremony. The official part was rounded off with traditional live acts followed by a party.
