25.10.2019 | Trade fair construction XXL

At this year’s EMO 2019, the complete Hall 2 of the trade fair in Hanover again became the setting for a staging extraordinaire. As one of the biggest manufacturers of metal-cutting machine tools in Germany and a leading manufacturer of CNC-controlled rotary and cutting machines worldwide, DMG MORI presented its efficiency in impressive fashion. On a surface area of approximately 10,000 m2 and an additionally created upper floor covering approximately 2,000 m2, the team of Raumtechnik Messebau & Event Services set up the entire stand in a setup time of around six weeks, according to the design of Stuttgart-based agency Jangled Nerves. The 60-strong setup team not only laid approximately 8 km of network cable, but also around 12,000 metres of power cable. Several large LED walls were integrated beside the imposing main building as highlights. The production of a large series of workstations specially designed for the exhibition as well as the manufacture and introduction of the approximately 300 special furniture pieces in total were a particular challenge in the course of the project. With maximum effort over the entire period from mid-April to the end of September 2019, the trade fair professionals from Ostfildern made their contribution to the successful trade fair presence and are looking forward to further joint projects.
