True to the motto „Discover the world of GANTER INTERIOR“, the Ganter Interior GmbH an international acting company for shop fittings and interior refurbishments, headquartered in Waldkirch, presented itself at the Euroshop 2011 in Dusseldorf.
As a symbol for the worldwide expansion during the previous year, with locations in Asia, North America and Europe, there was the “´GANTER WORLD”: a 4,6 m high white ball in the middle of a completely black stand. Inside the ball, the visitors could experience the company’s development virtual and three-dimensional by means of a 360° projection.
When designing the stand, particular materials with “job-site character” were used, such as tape, foot rule and MDF. Thus the company could demonstrate that with very simple means a big effect can be reached.
The 66m² stand, designed by Ganter Interior and built by Raumtechnik Messebau & Event Services GmbH, has been honored with the ADAM Award 2011, Category M, by the jury of the FAMAB. This prize for exhibition and brand performances, first awarded in 2001, dignifies the architecture and design as well as the communication of the business objectives of the performance.
Raumtechnik Messebau & Event Services GmbH based in Ostfildern near Stuttgart is one of Europe's leading specialists in 3-D-marketing. Since may 2011, the company is represented by a subsidiary in Shanghai. Now the production facilities in Pudong, a young district of Shanghai, was officially inaugurated with clients, suppliers and employees. The factory disposes of an investment volume of around 1 mio Euro.
| On 18th october 2011, the management opened the inauguration by cutting the red ribbon, following the Chinese custom. After a traditional chinese dragon dance, the guests could get a comprehensive impression of the new machinery and the production process. Raumtechnik China is, on ist 2500m2 production facilities, equipped with most modern CNC-Technology, a woodworking centre, a horizontal panel cutting and an edgebanding machine for wooden materials. In his opening speech, Mr. Achim Reinhuber, Managing Director of Raumtechnik, talked about the motives that convinced him to expand into Asia: "There's no question about it, the chinese market is a key market for Raumtechnik. We in Europe are faced with the fact that trade fairs increasingly take place in the booming markets of Asia, especially in China. The attractivity of Chinese markets results of the following facts: In the last ten years, the Chinese economic growth amounted to 10%. China is Germany's most important trading partner in Asia. China offers more than 80 trade fair center with international standard. China covers more than 50% of the exhibition spaces rented in Asia. Around 500 of the most important events take place in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Reinhuber continues: „For setting up trade fair and event structures successfully, local presence in projectmanagement and especially in the fabrication are essential. It’s important for us to be present in this dynamic growth area to offer professional work with own resources. Mr. Wolfgang Veit, local General Manager, is responsable for the operational business. In 1998, he started with Raumtechnik, first as a projectmanager and later as team director. Veit has been involved in projects in Asia for many years. Ralf Braun has been appointed as executive director of Raumtechnik China. In his position as Member of Board, he manages the commercial departement of Raumtechnik for over ten years. Raumtechnik China currently employs 14 permanent staff members. |

Since May 2011, Raumtechnik Messebau & Event Services GmbH from Ostfildern, near Stuttgart, one of Europe’s leading companies in the field of 3-D marketing, has been represented in China by a subsidiary based in Shanghai.
The attractiveness of the Chinese market for Raumtechnik arises out of the fact that increasing numbers of trade fairs are taking place in Asia’s high-growth sales markets, above all in China. It is to be expected that, with the proposed investment in trade fair infrastructure, the number of trade fairs in China will increase sharply. According to ADMA, for instance, the three exhibition centres of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou alone saw an increase of 77 in the number of trade fairs held in 2010.
“It is beyond all doubt that the successful realisation of trade fair stands and event structures in China needs a local presence, in project management and, above all, in production,” says Achim Reinhuber, managing director of Raumtechnik. “It’s important for us to be professionally active for our customers in this dynamic growth region on the strength of our own resources.”
The Chinese subsidiary boasts some 2,500 square metres of newly built operating area and has its offices in Pudong. Responsible for the operative business is local General Manager Wolfgang Veit. A member of staff at Raumtechnik since 1998, he initially worked as a project leader before becoming a team leader in project management for many key accounts in Asian projects. The position of Executive Director has gone to Ralf Braun. An authorised signatory, Ralf Braun has been in charge of the company’s commercial division for more than ten years.

Raumtechnik Messebau & Event Services GmbH located in Ostfildern near Stuttgart, announces an outstanding result for the preceding business year. 2010, the company realized an impressive growth in sales of 62 %, that is to say almost 44 Mio Euro.
2010, about 430 exhibition performances and events were realized in 25 countries worlwide. A great deal of the sales volume was achieved with international projects such as in Dubai, Tokio, Stockholm, Abu Dhabi and Toronto. In addition to the growth in the demand of the patronage the gain of new attractive customers was responsible for this remarkable result. Thus many top companies such as LEGO, BAVARIA Yachtbau, Specialized, Sirona, Knaus Tabbert, United Navigation or Atlas Copca now belong to the satisfied customers of Raumtechnik.
Achim Reinhuber, General Manager for 15 years, feels happy about this extremely positive development: “We have managed the worldwide economic crises challenges successfully and our customers have to catch up.“
Raumtechnik has 181 employees in Ostfildern and Cologne with upward trend. Due to the sucess they receive a bonus like in the past years.
Next step in the company's future strategy is the opening of an own fabrication in Shanghai in the second quarter of 2011. Futher locations are to be followed soon in the strategic important regions of the world (i.e. India).
